Are dog Christmas cards blank inside for personal notes, or do they come with pre-printed greetings?

Card interiors vary between open blank space and pre-printed holiday greetings. Sets like Spercy feature printed interior messages with cheerful pet puns such as "Merry Woofmas" and "Happy Howlidays," while Crown Point Graphics cards include glitter accents on the front with a printed interior greeting. Other options, like Croknit cards measuring 15 x 20 cm unfolded (10 x 15 cm folded), offer open writing space for penning custom holiday messages. If you want room to write personal letters to family, friends, or groomers, verify the interior layout on the product listing before purchasing.

What cardstock weight prevents pen ink from smearing or bleeding through?

Choosing cards made with 300 gsm cardstock prevents ink from bleeding through to the back during writing. Sets from WDphouly utilize 300 gsm matte cardstock, while HiFulerr cards use 300 gsm thick cardstock that provides a smooth, sturdy surface for pens. Other makers specify durable cardstock made in the U.S.A., such as the boxed sets from Vermont Christmas Company. When a manufacturer does not publish an exact paper weight, check that the listing specifies thick or heavy cardstock to ensure it will stand upright on display without bending.

Do boxed dog holiday cards include envelopes and decorative sealing stickers?

Many boxed collections include complete mailing supplies, but inclusions vary by pack size. The WDphouly 24-pack includes 24 white envelopes and stickers, while Spercy provides 24 folded cards with 24 red envelopes and 24 sealing stickers. Croknit offers a bulk set of 64 cards with 64 envelopes and stickers for extensive mailing lists. Some specialty sets, such as Vermont Christmas Company, supply 15 cards alongside 16 deluxe gold foil-lined envelopes, giving you a spare envelope in case of an addressing slip. Single greeting cards typically provide one envelope without extra seals.

What card dimensions are standard for holiday mailing?

Standard dog holiday cards generally come in either 4x6 inch or 5x7 inch formats. Packs like Spercy, WDphouly, and Crown Point Graphics use 4x6 inch dimensions, which easily accept standard postage and fit neatly into standard envelopes. Larger options, including HiFulerr, Decorably, and Performing Arts, measure 5x7 inches, offering extra display space. If you prefer international sizing, Croknit folds to 10 x 15 cm. For novelty cards, such as 8" x 5.3" folded formats, confirm your envelope dimensions and check postal size guidelines before mailing.

Can you find dog holiday card sets featuring multiple dog breeds in winter scenes?

Yes, many multi-pack sets showcase an assortment of breeds enjoying snowy holiday settings. WDphouly includes six distinct designs across 24 cards featuring Golden Retrievers, Labradors, French Bulldogs, German Shepherds, Poodles, and Dachshunds playing in winter snow. Croknit provides eight different dog designs across 64 cards, while Crown Point Graphics features pups dressed in cozy sweaters and scarves on toboggans. Choosing an assorted pack lets you match specific dog breeds to the pet lovers, veterinarians, or dog sitters on your holiday list.

How can you coordinate dog holiday cards with other festive pet traditions?

You can slip a holiday photo of your pup directly inside your card envelopes for a personal touch that friends and family cherish. Taking photos of your dog wearing festive holiday pet clothes creates an adorable insert for 5x7 inch or 4x6 inch cards. Once cards arrive from your loved ones, you can display them along the mantel near your Christmas stockings and stocking holders, keeping your canine-themed decor cohesive across your home throughout the holiday season.
